A former 2x All-Ohio Valley Conference selection and All-American football player, he found his way to powerlifting through a friendly bet and never looked back. His squat of 905 lbs at the USAPL Alabama State Championship went viral and turned him into a legend overnight.
Through a serious groin injury, a global pandemic, and years of recovery, Ray kept going. He married his wife Jasmine, welcomed a daughter, and earned his doctorate, all while staying focused on the platform. His motto says it all: "IT'S MONEY TIME!"
