Ivy-Marie Buzinhani Brustello has quickly established herself as one of the most accomplished young athletes in weightlifting. Her career is defined by strong performances across national and international competitions, reflecting consistent progress through the youth and junior ranks.
In 2023, Ivy became the World Youth Champion in the 40kg category, making history as the youngest athlete to earn the title. That same year, she claimed the Canadian Junior Championship in the 45kg category, demonstrating success both globally and within her home country.
She is also a two-time Junior Provincial Champion, highlighting continued development year over year. In 2025, Ivy added another major milestone by winning the Pan American Championship in the U15 48kg category.
