Bio

Lu Xiaojun was born on July 27, 1984, in China. His story began at age 8 when a coach spotted his talent during a 100-meter sprint. From that moment, a path was set in motion that would take him from a young sprinter in rural China to one of the most decorated weightlifters in Olympic history.

Over nearly three decades of competition, Lu has collected five world titles, two Olympic gold medals, and a legacy that continues to inspire lifters around the world. Even into his late 30s, he defies expectations and remains a symbol of what discipline and passion can achieve.
